Schedule of Rehearsals

Our rehearsals are to learn the music and to interpret it. You will be coached in foreign languages and English pronunciation at rehearsals. Singers are expected to review the music during the course of the week. Members can also purchase CDs of the music that will be performed.

Rehearsals are regularly held every Monday evening, from September through the end of May from 7:45 pm to 10:00 pm in the Studio at the North Presbyterian Church.

Directions to N. Pres. Church
North Presbyterian Church's address is 25-33 154 Street Flushing, NY 11354. The church is located on the northeast corner of 154th Street and 26th Avenue, across the street from St. Mel's R.C. Church in Flushing, Queens. This is a residential neighborhood with lots of parking - on the street and in the St. Mel's parking lot diagonally across the street.

By public transportation: From Main Street, Flushing, take the 16 bus (there are two; take either one). This will be no more than a 10-minute ride. Ask the driver to let you off at 154 Street. Walk 3 short blocks to your left (north). If you completely lost now, take a look at hopstop.com.

From Manhattan: Long Island Expressway-Eastbound to Exit 27, Clearview Expressway North (towards the Bronx). Take it to Exit 6A, 35th Avenue. Follow the service road to 26th Avenue and make a left. Take 26th Avenue to 154th Street (St. Mel’s Church will be on the left) and make a right. North Presbyterian is on your left with a big amount of property next to it.
