Schedule of Rehearsals
Rehearsals are regularly held every Monday evening, from September through the end of May from 7:45 pm to 10:00 pm in the FSG Room at Temple Beth Sholom. See below for directions.
Our rehearsals are to learn the music and to interpret it. You will be coached in foreign languages and English pronunciation at rehearsals. Singers are expected to review the music during the course of the week. Members can also purchase CDs of the music that will be performed.

Directions to Weekly Rehearsals
The Oratorio Society of Queens rehearses every Monday night in the FSG Room (lower level) at Temple Beth Sholom. The entrance is located on 172nd Street just off of Northern Blvd. (on the north side of Northern Blvd.) - one block WEST of Utopia Parkway. The entrance is locked - you must BUZZ IN to the OFFICE button (top left buzzer) to get in the building.
By public transportation:
There are several bus choices: 12 bus and 13 bus. They stop directly in front of Temple Beth Sholom. To get the full bus map of Queens, go to www.mta.info/nyct/maps/busqns.pdf
For N20 and N21 Nassau buses: Please refer to the Nassau bus schedule for the N20 and N21 at this website: http://www.mta.info/libus/routes/n2021/n2021_new.pdf for pick-up and drop-off rules.
For Long Island Rail Road, take the Port Washington line and get off at Auburndale. Walk south 2 blocks towards Northern Blvd., then walk 5 blocks west along Northern Blvd. to the temple.

By car:
Temple Beth Sholom is on the NORTH side of Northern Blvd. - one block WEST of Utopia Parkway. Coming from Manhattan/Flushing: when on Northern Blvd., take a left onto 172nd Street (there is a light). Coming from Long Island: when on Northern Blvd., take a right onto 172nd Street. There is a small parking lot immediately after the entrance to the building. The entrance to the parking lot is at the end of the parking lot. There is also residential street parking.
